And… we’re off! The first Fairfield Bike Shorts workshop was held on the 10th August at Nulawala Community Hall at Fairfield Showground and it was a SUCCESS!
During the first session we covered introductions to participants and to film, film formats, and storytelling. Participants viewed existing films and commented on filmmaking aspects and messaging. Participants also wrote about their experiences of cycling and shared their stories.
After a long lunch participants were divided up into smaller groups and began working collaboratively on developing storylines for their short film.
And, at the end of the day, a few of us went off and had yummy treats in Cabramatta.
